STILL NO 90-DEGREE TEMPERATURE IN ATLANTA IN 2003
June 30, 2003
The month of June closes with no 90 degree readings in Atlanta - and there were no 90-degree
readings in April or May, either. This is unusual. Typically, Atlanta sees 11 days with maximum
daily temperatures at- or above 90 degrees by the end of June. In the month of June alone,
a 90-degree reading is observed 90 percent of the time.
