Peak Wind Gusts from
January 29 Event
A strong cold front swept through the central Tennessee Valley
the night of Tuesday, January 29. Strong wind gusts of up to 55
mph accompanied the frontal passage at times, causing widespread
wind damage that was not associated with severe thunderstorms. (Information
