In 1998, thunderstorms produced golf ball sized hail in portions of Central Mississippi. Several reports of damages due to high winds were reported across Mississippi, with many of these reports not associated with thunderstorms. Also with these storms, an F0 tornado was reported in Money, MS and an F1 tornado was reported in Lake Village, AR. Damages from these storms totaled over $200,000.
