Winter Storm Outlook – winter storm conditions are possible in a few days
 

Winter Storm Watch – when ice or sleet accumulations of ¼ inch or greater, snow accumulations of 2 or more inches in 12 hours, or blizzard conditions are possible in the next 48 hours
 

Winter Storm Warning – when Winter Storm Watch conditions are expected in the next 24 hours
 

An F2 Tornado passes east of Fred, TX, in Tyler County on November 23^rd, 2004.

This was the second tornado in the outbreak of 12 tornadoes across the NWS Lake Charles area of responsibility that day.
