We would like to welcome our newest employees, Sam Shamburger and Stephen Carboni, to WFO Lake Charles.  Sam is our new meteorologist intern and comes to us from Irving, Texas.  A native Texan, Sam is a graduate of Texas A&M University.  Stephen joins us from WFO Hastings, Nebraska, where he was a journeyman forecaster.  Stephen is a native of southern Louisiana, and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 

Sadly, we had to say farewell recently to forecaster Jennifer McNatt, who is now a journeyman forecaster at WFO Tallahassee, Florida.  Jennifer was an employee at WFO Lake Charles for over 2 years.  Although we will miss her greatly, we wish her the best of luck in the future!
