Tornado Damage:

The Mittie tornado touched down 7 miles southwest of Mittie, near the Beauregard/Allen Parish line. The tornado continued a northeast track moving just west of the Simmons settlement in Allen Parish. Numerous trees and power lines were down along the tornado track. One barn was totally destroyed. A roof was ripped off of one home.
