This will result in a good chance of showers and thunderstorms across southeast New Mexico and the higher terrain of west Texas today, tonight and possibly Wednesday. Due to copious amounts of moisture avialable in the atmosphere and expected slow thunderstorm movement, heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding may result from southeast New Mexico, south through the Davis Mountains today and tonight.
