This TN Division of Forestry site is located in western Loudon County near the Roane County line. The elevation of the site is 1240 feet MSL, which is around 300 to 400 feet above the town of Lenoir City. The Cumberland Plateau Escarpment is around 10 to 15 miles to the northwest. A Tennessee State Forestry office is located just northeast of the site next to a fire tower, with a maintenance building located just south of the RAWS. Most of the surrounding area is forested, but a small field opens up for several yards to the west of the RAWS.
