  SOUTHERN DENTON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  NORTHERN TARRANT COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 1215 PM CDT

* AT 1021 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED
RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES PER HOUR MOVING EAST OVER THE
ADVISORY AREA. THE HEAVIEST RAINS WERE OCCURRING OVER AZLE...MOVING
EAST AT 10 MPH. HEAVY RAINS MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS STREETS...UNDERPASSES AND OTHER POOR
DRAINAGE LOCATIONS IN URBAN AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SIGNIFICANT PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS CAN BE EXPECTED. MOTORISTS
SHOULD SLOW DOWN DURING HEAVY DOWNPOURS TO AVOID LOSING CONTROL.
